Rambling Thoughts

I ran across the following thoughts from great minds and souls that have come and gone before us. I am often deeply touched by the constancy of truth and enlightenment that continually flows and courses through all ages of time. Sometimes I think I have come up with something so enlightened, and then God in His grace shows me that he has given the same enlightenment to numerous souls from the beginning. I would like to share some of my recent reminders.

"We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in the future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act." (Swami Vivekananda, 1863-1902)

Have you ever thought about what happens when you discover your passions and really get aligned with your destiny?

• Days become meaningful

• Success is inevitable

• Work is play

• Joy is a daily experience

• Life becomes magical • Spirituality is natural • Miracles happen constantly • Happiness is spontaneous and lasting relationships are fulfilling Passion is that one thing which has the power to transform, regenerate, and ignite anyone's life. Passion is the one thing which every successful person has.

Sometimes when it seems that we can't shake a particular problem, or we have one that keeps rearing its ugly head and instead of fighting it, we need to jump in and gain the insight and wisdom to handle it. Then it would be gone, and we would be ready for the next lesson -- only stronger, both in spirit and in wisdom!

"It is the Law that any difficulties that can come to you at any time, no matter what they are, must be exactly what you need most at the moment, to enable you to take the next step forward by overcoming them. The only real misfortune, the only real tragedy, comes when we suffer without learning the lesson." –Emmet Fox

And finally: Recently I have had several discussions with people regarding The Secret. It appears to contain much truth and light that is useful for invoking one's deeper thoughts, wisdom, and personal creation. I have written the following responses to several statements made about The Secret, with the deeper insights that come from understanding the three principles of Mind, Thought, and Consciousness operating before the creation of The Secret.

Examples of deeper understanding behind The Law of Attraction:

There's a simple formula we want you to understand:
Thought + Emotion = Attraction What this formula means is that your thoughts, magnified by the EMOTIONS behind your thoughts, equal the things that you attract into your life.

What this formula means is that your EMOTIONS–as a result of the INTENSITY, DEPTH, QUALITY, and/or NATURE of your thoughts creating them, equal the things that you attract into your life.

Emotions are powerful. Thinking about a goal that you're only half-excited about is not going to help you manifest that goal too fast. But think about a goal that really makes you excited...makes you weep with joy because the excitement of attaining it is so wonderful - NOW you're adding power to your thoughts and really using the Law of Attraction. If your thoughts are a vehicle to move you towards your goal - your emotions are the fuel that power this vehicle.

If your thoughts are a vehicle to move you towards your goal - your emotions are the manifested power, intensity and speed of our vehicle.

So the good news is that your positive thoughts, because they excite you so much more, and often have much more emotions attached to them - tend to be a lot more powerful than your negative thoughts.

This would be true if thoughts were in-of-themselves the determiner of attraction, however, intent, or, intention, appears more closely aligned with attraction, rather than positive or negative thinking. Intention, appears to be a deeper level of thinking that operates near the level of free-will which bears heavily on how we use Thought to create our thinking–whether positive or negative. Having said that, because the energy that comes from our innate thinking is coming from Source which is infinitely benevolent and loving, we will experience a markedly different life event than if we are creating our present experience from our own memories which often contain more negative thoughts than positive.

It is easier to attract the good than to attract the bad.
